Medicine Hat Tigers hosting final send off at Co-op Place tonight

Jun 2, 2025 | 4:00 PM

Supporters of the Medicine Hat Tigers will be able to give the Western Hockey League champions a final send off at Co-op Place on Monday evening.

There will be a quick presentation and a chance for fans to say goodbye to players after campaign that stretched for nine months.

It’s taking place at 7 p.m. and is open to the public. No further details were made available in a social media post announcing the send off.

The Tigers fell one win short of claiming the Memorial Cup in Rimouski, Que. on Sunday night.

A strong second period from the London Knights gave the Ontario Hockey League champion a four-goal lead the Tigers couldn’t recover from.

The team arrived back in Medicine Hat at about 9:30 a.m. Monday by bus after an overnight flight to Calgary from Quebec.

A small but loud group of fans were there to welcome the Tigers back to the city. The Medicine Hat fire department had its fire truck bucket extended for them.
