The Medicine Hat Mavericks are off to a very strong start to their Western Canadian Baseball League season having won their first five games.
Capped off with a 13-4 win over the Swift Current 57s at Athletic Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Mavs have outscored their opponents 65-35 and are the only undefeated in the East Division, also having played the most games in the WCBL thus far.
With Monday off, the Mavs will head to Regina for a pair of games against the 2-1 Red Sox on Tuesday and Wednesday, then a game in Moose Jaw against the 1-3 Miller Express on Thursday before returning home for three games.
