Margaret worked as a substitute teacher for several years, balancing family and career, until June 1, 1967, when she and Tino opened their own business. Margaret was very grateful for the many lasting friendships she created with customers and travelers alike. Her genuine interest in others left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. In her later years, Margaret found joy and companionship with new friends at Masterpiece Southland Meadows, where her warm spirit continued to shine.
