It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Marilynn Newfeld (Sheuer) at the age of 84 years.  She is survived by her daughter, Cyrie Pinguet (Chris); stepson, Wade Newfeld (Sharon); and sister, Joy Osgood.  Also survived by her grandchildren, Josh Parker (Amanda), Alexandra Clarke (Andy), Bo Newfeld (Kailyn), and Mistylee Hatch (David).  She also leaves behind her beautiful great grandchildren, Sydney Parker, Ally Parker, Eleana Clarke, and step great grandchildren, Elias and Alexis Hatch.  Also left to mourn her passing is her beloved fur baby, “Daisy” whom she cherished.  Her heart is broken too.  Marilynn was predeceased by her husband, Ken Newfeld; son, Jeff Newfeld, and stepson, Dean Newfeld.  She was also predeceased by her parents, Ed and Tillie Sheuer. Marilynn married Ken Newfeld in 1975 and moved to Calgary in 1984 where they were proud owners of Take A Break catering.     After Ken’s death in 2003, Marilynn continued living in Calgary but returned to Medicine Hat in 2020 where she became a resident at Masterpiece until her passing. The Memorial service will be held at Saamis Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, AB on Friday May 16, 2025, at 1:30 pm with Pastor Shane Hein officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA, 55 Southview Drive SW, Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8 or the Canadian Cancer Society, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.
